Cultivating microorganisms like cyanobacteria gives us the opportunity to achieve a relatively high yield of our mutated or native-like protein of interest. Using cultivation vessels like bioreactors enable the control of parameters like temperature, pH value, CO2 concentration, light intensity and many others. Small changes of one or more parameters can decide between failure and success, but can also result in a higher efficiency. We are using various bioreactors to cultivate our microorganisms and are always looking for the best cultivation condition.
